The Internal Medicine Service offers advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as:
- Esophagoscopy, gastroscopy and duodenoscopy (exam of the stomach and upper bowel)
- Colonoscopy (exam of the large intestine)
- Cystoscopy (exam of the bladder)
- Tracheoscopy and bronchoscopy (exam of the airways)
- Rhinoscopy (exam of the nasal passages)
- Laparoscopy (exam of the abdominal contents, esp. liver, kidneys, pancreas)
- Feeding tube placement (esophagus, stomach, jejunum)
- Bone marrow aspiration
