Holidays for the 2007-2008 fiscal year will not be decided by the State until the fall semester of 2007 and will be announced at that time.

Typically, TAMU faculty and staff receive 2 days at Thanksgiving, 6-9 days at Christmas, Martin Luther King, Jr. day, 1-2 days of Spring Break, Memorial Day, and 1 day for July 4th for a total of 12 to 15 days.

The Department Head prepares a specific schedule for the 4 weeks of Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Spring Break when the VMTH operates with a reduced number of students, technicians, and faculty. Interns and residents should consult the schedules generated for all holidays.
