Stain procedure (samples labeled sample 1-6)

1. Adsorb suspension: Dilute depending on turbidity in distilled water containing 0.05% BSAc. Adsorb particles in droplets to formvar-carbon filmed grids for 2 h at room temp. Float grids adsorbed with undiluted sample briefly on a droplet of H2O to wash out buffer salts. Gently blot.

2. Stain: Float briefly on 2% phosphotungstic acid at pH 7. Blot and dry.

3. Examine by TEM.
