Create Image Montage with Photoshop

Plan final layout and text.

Prepare images in PS

• Set image mode, size/resolution
• Rotate, sharpen, adjust contrast, intensity and color balance
• Arrange component images on screen
• Select Rectangular Marquee Tool (fixed size; set width and height)
• Select regions of interest.

Move component images to Montage image

• Create a Montage canvas (same mode as component images)
• Copy-Paste component images to Montage canvas.
• Rearrange separate layers with Move Tool

Add text

• Select Horizontal Type Tool and set style to Black, Helvetica
• Click image location and enter text

Save

• Full resolution version (layered image) for editing, final draft
• Low resolution version (flattened, scaled) for working copy
