Graduate Studies Program Information

The various component parts of the Texas Veterinary Medical Center offer a wide range of graduate programs leading to MS (thesis or non-thesis) and PhD degrees. Degree programs are available through the five academic departments in the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. MS degree programs are offered in laboratory animal medicine, science and technology in journalism, epidemiology, veterinary public health, and biomedical sciences. PhD degree programs are offered in veterinary microbiology, veterinary pathology (DVM required), and biomedical sciences. Additionally, some of the programs are interdisciplinary, crossing departmental and College lines (e.g., programs in genetics, toxicology and nutrition).

It is recommended that students contact a faculty mentor before submitting their application.
