neutrophil infiltration and liver injury in females. Currently examining the role of several integrins in osteopontin-mediated neutrophil transmigration.
Nivedita Banerjee, PhD Student: Understanding the role of lymphocytic inflammation in non alcoholic fatty liver disease.
Dr. Jin-Hyung Lee, Post Doctoral Research Associate: Currently, investigating the mechanism by which Osteopontin is induced within biliary epithelium, hepatocytes and Kupffer cells. Jin-Hyung worked on new Protein Arginine Methyltransferases for her PhD from UMDNJ-Rutgers University under the preceptorship of Dr. Sydney Pestka.
Mary Wallace, Research Assistant: Mary makes sure everyone has what they need for their research and keeps all of us on track. She plans to enter graduate program in 2008.
