In order to be on the Distinguished Members List this semester, each of the following specifications must be met:

 

1) Pay dues by the set deadline
    a. $35 for the whole academic year including a shirt
    b. $20 for a semester including a shirt

 

2) Attend a one-on-one in the cubicle with an officer during the fall semester
    a. Only new members are required to attend a one-on-one

    b. One-on-ones will be rewarded with one point

    c. Returning members may attend an optional one-on-one session for a point
    d. New members in the spring are also required to attend the spring one-on-one

 

3) Collect 36 points from the following sources:

    a. Meeting attendance (4 pts./meeting)

    b. Volunteer hours with sponsor signature (2 pts./hour)
            - volunteering may not exceed 20 pts (10 hours)

    c. Field trips/Socials (varies by event)

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: If ANY event requires a sign-in sheet and you do not show up for that event, half of the points that the event is worth will be deducted from your semester total.

 

 

 A list of all distinguished members will be sent to the vet school at the conclusion of each semester and the member with the most points each semester will be eligible for a scholarship from the Pre-Vet Society
