Babe,
a black Labrador Retriever, came to the center from the Dallas area in
2002 when she was 5 years old with her buddy, Jet. Unfortunately,
we lost Babe much too soon to cancer. She was a beaming presence
here at the center and is truly missed daily by everybody. Babe
was an amazing dog who never met a person she didn't love immediately.
There is a distinctive void here without our beautiful Babe. Those
of us who had the great fortune of knowing and loving Babe will remember
her fondly forever.
