Building Expansion
The Stevenson Center received its first
resident pets in 1993. Since that time, the number of pets enrolled in the
program has grown rapidly, making it necessary for us to expand our
facility. The center has received approximately $685,000 in gifts
and matching funds for construction of
the new addition. Construction of the new building began in November
of 2003 and was completed in August of 2004.

This floor plan gives a view of the new
3,500 sq. ft. addition to the Stevenson Center. The new building
provides additional living space for student residents and pet
residents. The center now has 8,300 sq. ft. of space to house
approximately 60 dogs, cats and birds.

New Barn Completed

A new large animal barn was completed
in 2003. This is a three stall and one feed room facility with
plenty of ventilation, plumbing and electricity. It is located in a
grove of trees on the center's property which allows plenty of shade in
the summer months.
