- NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates
- The DeBakey Institute Summer Research Program provides a unique opportunity
for 10 undergraduate and graduate students to participate in a 10-week
summer research experience sponsored by both NSF.
- NSF Research Experience for Teachers
- The DeBakey Institute at Texas A&M University offers a unique opportunity
for 15 middle and high school teachers of math and science from rural
communities in Texas to explore basic cardiovascular bioengineering research
in a 8-week summer program-4 weeks onsite, and 4 weeks offsite.
- NIH-NSF Vascular Bioengineering Summer Institute
- The DeBakey Institute Summer Research Program provides a unique opportunity
for 12 undergraduate and graduate students to participate in a 10-week
summer research experience sponsored by both NSF and NIH to explore vascular
bioengineering
- TAMUS Research Network
- The Michael E. DeBakey Institute at Texas A&M University College Station
houses extensive equipment for the study of blood and blood vessels by
noninvasive means. Remote Internet-based capabilities enhance long-distance
collaboration.
- NIH Training Program to Increase Diversity in Health-Related Research
- The DeBakey Institute has established a three-phase research training
program for 12 students interested in pursuing research careers.
