Light Microscopy

Slide 189: Examine with your unaided eye. Note that the specimen consists of two sections, representing the anterior and posterior portions of the eye. Find the lens, cornea, aqueous humor, anterior chamber, vitreous body, retina, sclera, photoreceptor cells, and optic eye (on some slides). Examine slide at 10X as well as 40X. Corneal epithelium, Bowman’s membrane, corneal stroma, corneal fibroblasts, Descemet’s membrane, corneal endothelium, limbus, conjuctiva, ciliary body, pupil, ciliary body, posterior chamber, ciliary epithelium, ciliary processes, trabecular meshwork, canal of Schlemm, ciliary muscle, sclera spur, ligaments, lens, capsule, fibers, lens epithelial cells.
