(dark dot at apical end beneath the brush border)

vessel epithelium.
201, 205, 206, 207, 208: look for simple columnar
10, 19, 242, 243, 235: stratify squamous epithelium in esophagus
241, 242: stratify cuboidal – sweat duct
71, 276 (vocal cord): pseudo columnar epithelium
255: look for cilia
289, 54, 55, 132: transitional epithelium

3, 16, 17, 10f, 8h: students need to be able to see the basal laminar and compare
them by sides
6b, 4, 10f, 4a, 4b, 4c: need to be able to identify the tight junction (zonula
occulent), zonula adherens, and desmosome (macula adheren junction)
2a: need to identify gap junction
10a: need to see marginal fold (capillary endothelial)
8g: need to see Prickle Cell (why is it has a lot of desmosomes)
