Dr. Randi Gold

Randi is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After earning her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009 she moved to Texas where she completed a rotating small animal internship at Texas A&M in 2010 followed by a small animal surgery internship at the Dallas Veterinary Surgery Center in 2011. After her surgery internship Randi returned to Texas A&M to complete a PhD in the laboratory of Dr. Sara Lawhon studying antibiotic resistance genes in dogs with Staphylococcus pseudintermedius. She completed her PhD in 2015 before beginning a residency at Texas A&M in anatomic pathology. She completed her residency in 2018 and joined the GI lab. In her spare time Randi enjoys creating different forms of art and skates with the Brazos Valley Roller Derby.
