Dr. Alison Manchester

Alison Manchester

Dr. Alison Manchester grew up in Rochester, NY and studied art history at Tufts University before moving on to veterinary school at Cornell University. She completed a small animal internship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. The westward trend continued with a Small Animal Internal Medicine residency at Colorado State University, and she became a board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2018. Alison joined the TAMU Gastrointestinal Laboratory in the fall of 2018 to continue to interrogate the interplay between the gut microbiota and intestinal health. Her clinical research focuses on the consequences of gut bacterial dysbiosis. When away from the lab, Alison enjoys running, training her wine palate and (humidity permitting) being outside.
