Nora Berghoff graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in Hanover (Germany) in 2002, and joined the GI Lab in March of 2003. Her focus has been the establishment of the prevalence of protein-losing enteropathy and further characterization of this disease in Norwegian Lundehunds, a rare dog breed in which gastrointestinal disease is common.
Her main interest is internal medicine, and she would like to combine clinical work with research, as she feels both are important. Thus, after finishing her Dr.med.vet degree, she would like to complete a PhD program as well as an internship, and possibly a residency, in small animal internal medicine.
