Niels graduated in 2005 with his veterinary degree from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Leipzig, Germany. After spending some time in large animal practice he recently started his postgraduated work in the GI Lab. His research is focused on evaluation of genetic markers for gastrointestinal disease in German Shepherd Dogs.
