Heriberto Rodriguez graduated in 1980 with a DVM and in 1990 with a Master's Degree from the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at the Autonomous University of Zacatecas, Mexico. He has served for several years as a lecturer in small animal medicine and general surgery. As part of his PhD program he is currently working on the development and validation of gas chromatography/mass spectrometry methods to evaluate intestinal absorption capacity and gastrointestinal permeability in dogs and horses.
