Control Range (dogs only):  0 - 72  nmol/L  

In dogs, values greater than 72 nmol/L are suggestive for bacterial overgrowth or disturbance of the normal flora of the upper small intestine. This sample should be shipped on ice. Feeding has an impact on the results and the dog must be placed on a 12 hour fast prior to sample.
