The successful candidate will join the dynamic group of six faculty members within the Department of Veterinary Integrative Biosciences engaged in epidemiology and public health research, teaching, and service.

Requirements: The successful candidate will hold an advanced degree (PhD or equivalent preferred) in a relevant discipline (e.g., epidemiology, risk analysis, biostatistics). A degree in veterinary medicine is also desirable. Prior postdoctoral research and teaching experience are assets.

Duties: The position will comprise approximately 70% research and 30% teaching/academic service: the exact distribution of effort is negotiable. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an extramurally funded research program to complement the signature program in biodefense and emerging infectious diseases.
