A full time faculty position in food animal medicine is available in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Texas A&M University. The position is a 12-month tenure track appointment. Applicants should have a DVM or equivalent and be board certified or board eligible in a relevant practitioner board or specialty college with veterinary experience in clinical practice. Preference will be given to applicants with an advanced graduate degree. The successful candidate will participate in clinical service / teaching through the local food animal ambulatory practice, with emphasis on beef cattle and meat goats and will be expected to support and maintain this portion of the Food Animal Service. Eligibility for special/regular licensure by the Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners is required. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
