General Project Considerations
Pick two of the three parts of a projects completion that is most important to you..... price, quality, or time.
If you are designing your own poster for printing, DO NOT use Powerpoint. Unfortunately, the program is primarily designed for producing slides and onscreen presentations. Therefore, it does not always *agree* with the printer's Fiery RIP (Raster Image Processor) when it comes to printing. Fonts drop out, pictures print poorly, page items get rearranged, etc.
Poster Design
If you are creating a layout to be printed poster size, it is recommended that you use Photoshop for image editing only, not recommended for entire poster layout. Use of Photoshop for such a large print requires a huge file that cannot always be handled by our printer.
