The College of Veterinary Medicine offers a four-year program that leads to a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) degree. This degree requires a minimum of 66 semester hours of preprofessional courses and 180 semester hours of professional veterinary medical courses.

Graduate programs leading to the Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees are available through departments in the College of Veterinary Medicine. Opportunities for a joint D.V.M./M.S. and D.V.M./Ph.D. programs are available, and other combinations will be considered. The DVM/MBA degree program is another new option that is now available with a number of students enrolled.  See our website for more detailed information.
