Charge
The Veterinary Medical Curriculum Committee is responsible for developing, monitoring, and adjusting the curriculum to meet veterinary medical educational needs. In fulfilling this charge, the Committee shall articulate the educational philosophy of the faculty by providing the framework through which the best possible veterinary medical education can be delivered.
Membership
Members appointed by the Dean upon recommendation and consultation with the appropriate department head. Each department will have two representatives. The Medical Sciences Library will have one representative. Representatives will serve for three year terms and a Chair will be elected by the membership at the beginning of each academic year. Each voting member has one vote. Representatives for the V2, V3, and V4 classes are elected at the end of the spring semester by each rising class. Student representatives are strongly encouraged to stand for re-election each year since multi-year service on the committee is deemed optimal. Membership term: 3 years
