Welcome to the home page of the Clinical Pathology Laboratory at Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital.

Our Mission

To provide Clinical Pathology Support to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital by analyzing the cellular and chemical composition of blood and other body fluids, and the cytologic composition of tissue aspirates/imprints from VMTH patients. This laboratory support is also available by request to individuals with funded research projects.

Business Hours

Monday - Friday  8 AM to 9 PM*

Saturday - Sunday 8 AM to 11 AM**

On-Call Service  after 9 PM weekdays & after 11 AM weekends*

*Samples submitted after 5:30 PM weekdays or after 11 AM on weekends are subject to after hours charges.

**Samples submitted between 8 AM and 9 AM on weekends will not be processed until after 9 AM due to daily machine maintenance and quality control procedures.
