Ali

Alison Starr, Ph.D. - Assistant Research Scientist; Dept. of Pathobiology

I received my B.S. (Cum laude) in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University in 2003 and began my doctoral studies the same year. I defended my doctoral dissertation in 2007. My research concerned abnormalities in cholesterol metabolism of the domestic dog. I have a special interest in orthopedic disorders, and am currently investigating osteochondrodysplasia in the Havanese and Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease in West Highland White Terriers and Miniature Pinschers.
