CJC 2+2 Articulation Agreement

This agreement serves to facilitate the admission and academic transfer of students from Cisco Junior College to the Biomedical Science program (BIMS) in the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine.  As students progress successfully toward the completion of the Associate of Arts Degree, this agreement will ensure the seamless transition of students into the BIMS program according to the provisions and conditions below:

1.     Cisco Junior College students who complete the attached degree plan, as full time students will be admitted to the BIMS program automatically, provided they meet all other general admission requirements (i.e., transcripts, applications, time lines, deadline dates, etc.) for general admission to Texas A&M University.

2.     Students must have maintained no less than a cumulative 3.60 GPA in the courses taken at Cisco Junior College and be eligible for graduation from Cisco Junior College

3.     Students must not have made any grade below a "B" in all of their Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) science and math course work.

4.     This agreement will be reviewed on an annual basis and may be amended by mutual written consent of both parties by issuing an addendum to this agreement.

5.     This agreement will commence effective the Fall 2002 semester with commitment of a five (5) year period.
