Clinical Pathology Lab

The mission of the Clinical Pathology Lab is to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital by analyzing the cellular and chemical composition of blood and other body fluids, and the cytologic composition of tissue aspirates/imprints from VMTH patients. This laboratory support is also available by request to individuals with funded research projects.

The Gastrointestinal Laboratory (GI Lab) at Texas A&M University, the only laboratory of its kind worldwide, has helped to bring along many advances in our understanding of gastrointestinal disease in companion animals. Over the last 20 years we have developed several new diagnostic tests that help your veterinarian make a diagnosis and choose the appropriate therapy for your pet.

The Image Analysis Laboratory is set up as a core research facility in the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. Our goal is to provide the resources for research and training in the use of state-of-the art optical imaging technologies and high resolution electron microscopy.
